Become a Local Leader
You can become a powerful voice of BURCIN in your area by becoming a Local Leader. As a leader, you will reach out to fellow BU alumni, let them know about BURCIN and organize get-togethers for them. You can even bring new projects into life as you establish BURCIN presence in your area. It is a great opportunity for you to meet fellow alumni, network, and improve your leadership skills.
Responsibilities of a Local Leader are:
Reaching out to BU alumni in his/her area and encouraging them to join BURCIN
Holding events for the alumni – preferably at least one event in the first three months of becoming a Local Leader
Communicating with his/her Regional Coordinator to convey any contact information gathered from the alumni
Keeping his/her Regional Coordinator up-to-date on events and projects
Maintaining his/her BURCIN membership
If you are interested in becoming a Local Leader or would like to learn more about it, please contact the Regional Coordinator responsible for your region.
We are looking forward to working with you.
